We are able to offer full day camp for individuals with special needs, ages 5 and up. This service is available five days a week, and includes one field trip weekly. Our emphasis will be on socialization activities: crafts, gymnasium activities, outdoor adventures, swimming, and boating. Participants will swim on Tue and Thu, please bring a towel and swimsuit. Participants can be enrolled any number of days. Please give money or checks directly to the front desk.

Program Locations
7:15 am - 5:15 pm: Buchanan Rec. Center
We will offer Monday golf practice drop-off if you are attending camp.

Camp starts promptly at 9 am, if your child is not here by 9:15 AM they may not come to camp; it is very disruptive!

The Evergreen Park and Recreation District integrates persons with special needs, wherever possible, into recreational classes offered by the District. In addition the District participates in Unified Sports and Special Olympics, which allows the individual with special needs to try new activities they would not otherwise get to experience.

Drop-in Fee
Any dates in which participants need care after the tuition/calendar due date will be considered a drop-in for an additional $2.00 per day fee based on space availability. If payment isn’t received in a timely manner, the child will not be permitted to attend the program until all charges are paid in full and space availability is determined. Repeated late payments or outstanding balances of program tuition fees may result in actions including the dismissal of the child from all Evergreen Children and Youth Programs.
